Declaration of Independence Song,' Puts the Words of Thomas Jefferson to
Music to Teach Students American History

grade homework assignment to memorize the first verses of the Declaration of
Independence, Jack Boyd and family of Alpharetta, GA put the actual words to
music and created a song. "It's a great song and a faster way to learn,"

Steffy Boyd is 18 years old and an freshman at Shorter
College in Rome, Georgia. She recorded the song
when she was 11 years old.
Jack Boyd is a sales manager for a large computer company and enjoys
helping his children explore their talents. He lives in Alpharetta, GA with
his wife, Monica and three children: Kristin, 20 years, Steffy, 18
years and Nathan, 16 years.
